Vikings

Vikings originally came from Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
The name Viking means "pirate" and they could sail huge distances.
500 years before Chistofer Columbus discovered the American continent, vikings had visited its shores.
 The vikings still live in England today.

Mayan civilization

The Ancient Mayan lived in Mexico and Guatemala. They had no central king and developed the science of astronomy, calendar systems and hieroglyphic writing.

They also built pyramids, temples and palaces. They were very religious people and farmers. 

Many theories try to explain why they disappeared but they are still living in their own regions.

Felipe, David, Víctor and Alejandra were our teachers. Well done!

Romans

Did you know that Rome was founded by Romulus? That thanks to their strong army they conquered new lands? Thet they built roads, walls and aqueducts? That they liked to enjoy their food?
We were ready for a journey back in time and Miguel, Shania and Julen were the best teachers. Thanks!

Ancient China

Today it is the turn of China. Adrián, Ane, Lexuri, Lucía B and Uxue were our teachers this time. We were given interesting information about ancient China (jobs, arquitecture, emperors, inventions, geography...).

We learned a lot. Thank you!

Egypt

In our Science project...it is time for Egypt.







Our teachers Aritz, Sofía, Mikel, Oihane and Lucía told us interesting information about hieroglyphs.







They spoke about gods and goddesses.

They also gave information about the pyramids (Keops,Kefrén, Micerino) and Tutankamon.

It was a really good lesson.

Prehistory

 In Science we are working on a project about different civilizations.

 We have prepared a lesson into groups and we are "teaching" our classmates.

  Do you know why dinosaurs disappeared? Where cavemen lived? The inventions in this period?

 Our great teachers answered these questions.

 It was really fun!

Robert Swartz

We received the visit of Robert Swartz, Director of the National Center for Teaching Thinking.
He watched one of our lessons and we had a good time with him.
